What if I have just one…?

Published by crottygirl at 8:26 pm under Odds N Ends Edit This

I said yesterday there didn’t seem to be a snowflake in sight here in east-central Colorado, but wouldn’t you know that it’s been snowing off and on since late this morning.  Just a dusting of snow on the streets and about an inch on the grass, which makes the holiday lights on the neighbor’s house across the street all the more beautiful.  The kids are thinking of snowball fights and hot chocolate.  I’m thinking of fighting my desire to smoke or not, and that big honkin’ chocolate donut from Thursday night, of which I enjoyed every lucious, sugary bite (and shouldn’t have consumed).

I was proactive enough last night to spend 20 minutes on our new fitness game, and then lifted weights afterward.  I felt great when I was done and woke up feeling even just a pound or two lighter.  I bounced out of bed, stepped on the scale and *boom* - there it was…another pound added to my number from yesterday.  Fabulous.  Freakin fantastic fabulous FAT.  WTFat?

It’ll take five minutes to get to the convenience store for a pack of cigarettes.  It’s also $4.  And less than 20 degrees outside.  And the car has snow on it.  AND, there are no more donuts in the house.  Plus, football is on TV, and I love watching football, having a beer, and lighting one up.

Someone please tell me I’m not the only one that has front row seats to the WWE match that is their chubby, bad-habit consuming, lethargic self vs. slim, healthy, get off you’re a$$ self…   It’s gotta get easier than this.

I just decided I’m done screwing around.  I’m going downstairs to work out.

Front row seats? Are you frickin’ kiddin’ me? I’ve got them rented out so they’ll have their smackdown in the middle of my living room. I mean, come on…I can’t miss whatever else is on television while they fight. I need both at once. :P

But yeah…It does get easier. I’ve done it before and I only fell of my healthy eating/working out wagon because of some pretty crummy health issues that took over my life for 18 months. Blech. Now I don’t have an excuse though. Hmm…*glances over at the chocolates next to the keyboard* Yeah…I should get on that then…
